BlockBeats News, August 28th, according to Coindesk, Bitcoin startup Portal to Bitcoin has completed a $50 million funding round, led by Paloma Investments, bringing the project's total funding to $92 million.
This funding will be used to support the expansion of the company's BitScaler adapter. BitScaler can scale native Bitcoin without the use of wrapped tokens, custodial bridging, or "message passing or other insecure workarounds." Portal plans to leverage this new funding to expand its grant program and onboard institutional and community liquidity providers.
